Senior center operations (formerly Care home operations)

The Northern and Central Helsinki branch operates, among other things, at the Kivelä Senior Center in Töölö. The senior center's cultural instructors coordinate the activities. Volunteers are currently being sought for the Kivelä activities. Read here if you would be suitable for this position! 

Kukkaisrahasto (The Flower Fund) nursing home in Katajanokka organizes coffee events with programs a couple of times a season. 

Mental health rehabilitation food club

The food club for people in mental health rehabilitation meets once a month on the first Monday of the month at the Hermanni Club on Hämeentie. 

Friendship and Escort Service Coordination

The escort service coordination provides volunteers to people in need of escorting, who will accompany them, for example, to the doctor or to the store. Would you like to join as an escort? Or are you interested in acting as an intermediary and connecting volunteers with those in need? Contact helsinki.saattajavalitys@punainenristi.fi

Knitting club

The knitting club meets on Thursdays from 6-8 pm in Helsinki's Puistola. The club knits together crafts. If you would like to join the activities or for more information, please contact niina.neulonta12@gmail.com. 

The Eternal Ladies

Eternal ladies is a closed group of former active volunteers from the Central Helsinki department.
